We need to bring back 5m also, 10 mins wasted setting the scrums and slow ptb is best on overly watered pitches and a proper ball

OK so you are convinced we have ball trouble.

The grounding with pinkies is pathetic,ball should be in control in the hand or under the arm when grounded.The amount of times you see a ball bounced on grounding and T.R.Y awarded is comical.

Scrums are not contested anymore,so strategies with players are built around that now.

The same with playing the ball with your foot,the marker can't strike for the ball anymore so I dont see an issue with it not touching the foot as long as the player is up on both feet before they play it.

I think the obvious crack down on players stepping off the mark at the PTB,will improve that area.

I couldn't go back to how scrums used to be. As a player it was great, but not good as a spectacle with collapsing scrums etc.

As for touchdowns, its the video referees that started all that nonsense. Looking at frame by frame, and just because a player didn't cut their nails that morning the try is given. They would never have control of the ball like that, and any other part of the pitch would be given knock on. The video refs also got daft cancelling good Trys not long back with obstructions/interference - this was the other extreme looking for slightest excuse to cancel good trys.

I agree.This "I have a try/no try on the field" requires remedial work. The ref sends it upstairs to check the grounding,ends up being no try for another reason.

I think it's good that the on-field ref has to give an opinion, it's the fact that the VR won't overturn even obvious mistakes that's frustrating.

I'd do away with the VR completely. Slows the game down and still end up with the wrong decision

I have seen some overturned but admit not that many, but yes i have seen what seems to me an obvious Try when watching the replays only for the Video Reff rule it as no Try

If the ref can't decide then let the VR make his decision without the try/no try nonsense.

Just make the decision on field and stick to it.

You have a ref, 2 TJ's and a VR, and we still get bad decisions. There will always be human error, so let the refs do the job they're supposed to. Watching replays a thousand times is infuriating (especially when it's followed up by Cummins trying to convince us that the decision is always correct!)
