£5 for parking is an absolute joke. I'll give it 6 months until your crowds nose dive for someone to wake up. The residents near your place are going to love you on match days.

£5 sounds quite reasonable considering the official car parks at Ewood Park last night were £10 each!

And some people complain about the time it takes to get off our FREE car park.

Same charge as Wigan, Bradford and Hull. No parking at Leeds or Wire. Seems par for the course for Super League these days. And I will never stop being surprised that it's still free at Leigh.

5 quid ain't bad to be honest. Beats the poop out of paying a big bill when some idiot puts a dent in it when it's parked down a side street .

You think just because you pay £5 your car won't get damaged? As for the coach Lynda, I may use it, however I am one of those people who prefer to have control of when I go and when I leave somewhere, I'm funny like that

Salford's website says that car parking is only available if purchased in advance £5 plus 50p booking fee. Are they saying if you turn up on the day and want to park your car you wil be turned away. That cant be right

Seems daft to charge £5.50 for parking but If people pay it then good luck to the club as its stealing money.

I suppose it only becomes a problem when the £5.50 gets factored into the overall costs of watching RL at Salford City Reds new ground (especially if the club underperforms)and people view it too expensive to travel to a out of town ground.

What are the public transport options , are Salford doing anything for its current support as the new ground is a long way away from its old support base (ie : Bolton put on buses for its support when it moved a long way from its old ground) ?
IS there a Bus service from Salford / Manchester that goes near the ground ?

Like I said if there is no public transport or even if there is an every 20 in service people will need to go in their cars. I think that the people who own this ground know this and are banking on people paying it. Why shoukld you pay to go and watch a game which is costing £20 in the regular season when accross the road you can shop, go to the cinema, play golf, ski, sky dive and park for free. The residants who live adjacent to this ground are going to get pretty fedup when their streets are full of fans cars. They already have a major problem with the people who own it because of the incinerator they propose to build there. I feel very sorry for the Salford fans as they are going to have to go through everything we have and more.
