| Did anyone else in the West Stand (you probably didn't see it in the North stand) witness the farce concerning the MC for the game - it was supposed to be Mr. Ollerton?
About ten minutes from full time he could be seen exaggeratedly counting Leigh players, and then strode down to the 'bench' to point out something to the coaching staff. As a result, Leigh shoved Tommy Goulden back onto the pitch, giving us a complement of 13 men! The coaches wanted to bring Goulden off, but the MC kept telling him to stay on. So, at one stage we had 13 men on the pitch, when we should have only had 12. Hopefully, nothing bad will result from this! In the end, the message must have got back to the MC, that we had had a player sent off, and sanity prevailed.
The MC is supposed to be in charge of all that goes on in the game. Where was he when Alstead was sent off? And people are criticising the ref - when he has someone like that advising him?!  |

Unfortunately the radio link was not working AGAIN, between ref touchies and Commisioner, that could be the reason.

Ooops thats us done for then ..... Dickie Lewis will be saying we did n`t have those problems at HP............In all seriousness I can`t for the life of me think why the club should be penalised because the MC can`t do simple maths........  |

The MC appeared to be telling the Leigh 'bench' that there weren't enough players on the pitch. Leigh staff then shoved Tommy on. I don't think it involved any communication with the ref or TJ's Fred - they were waiting for Nanyn's goal kick, from a try.

Surprises me.Is there a rule that says for example if you have 10 players on the pitch when you may legally have 13 it is illegal ?
