Paul Rowley is being linked with a return to Leigh, some five years after leaving the club. He enjoyed a successful spell between 2012 and 2016, winning back-to-back Championship titles. Also on the rumoured shortlist to replace John Duffy are Warrington duo Andrew Henderson and Lee Briers, former Hull coach Andy Last, another former Leigh coach in Kieron Purtill and Super League winning hooker Mickey Higham.

Personally I would prefer Hendo & Briers to come as a combo but not sure Wire would allow that, after all they would be coming from a top S.L Club with all that environment brings & standards set in place

I would back the return of Paul Rowley. He knows how to win.

I would love to see Paul back in the club, but cant see this happening at all, the Warrington combo would make sense to me.

Wonder where Paul’s name come from ? I can’t see him applying for the job

Rowley couldn’t meet SL standards. Proven with Tornado Wolfpack. That’s the step back I speak of.
