'NOTHING ....... NOTHING less' than League Leaders & direct promotion is good enough !!!

This squad is easily good enough to take it to the likes of Widnes, Catalans & Huddersfield but, only if they have the freedom to actually play RL !

I now believe that the KC & NJ combination is detrimental to the task of achieving the goal of SL 2019.

Top & nothing less, we need the pick of fixtures, certainly the extra home games over finishing 3rd or 4th.

DB loyalty is commendable but ultimately flawed, get the players in one by one with full freedom of speech without fear of repercussions & get to the bottom of why they are not performing to their capabilities, unless you don't want to hear the answers then I don't see why an owner/director would not.

There's a meeting at 4 apparently today ive read on here . Lets hope its sorted one way or another as there are plenty decent teams in this league and playing like we are wont be good enought to beat them

Has no one questioned the players commitment? its alright being good enough but if you don't really care quality becomes irrelevant.

Unfortunately there have been question marks over players commitment ever since Jukes took over. In early 2016, the team was carried by Higham and to a lesser extend, Ridyard. Then in the play offs, the difference was Ridyard coming back into the team, apparently after a talking to by Paul Cooke. (Sadly he's gone and Jukes remains).

Then in 2017, we had a lot of new faces but the same laziness in defence that leads to all the frustrating penalties, which ultimately got us relegation.

Now in 2018, pretty much a completely new team and the same performances and errors.

Seems to be, doesn't matter who plays, they're pretty flat under the current coaching.

The decision to field a whole new team bar 1 or 2 imo wasnt the best of ideas lets be honest

Well i have defended the club a lot in the past as i believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt, and at the same time giving someone a fair crack of the whip.However,i will be there on Sunday,but at the same time i now fear,if the club doesn't address the current situation,then it will become very evident on the terraces by way of attendances. If the attendance drops by only 500 on Sunday,that equates to 10k @ £20 a pop. If more than that don't turn up..............£££££ .

dereks a very successful business man but with the stubborn loyalty that hes showing towards the coaches. I don't. Really see how he's achieved what he has. Anyone employed is rewarded for success. But the two stooges in charge at Leigh seem to have a free reign to ruin the club. Even Mcmanus and the fans at Saints saw beyond the hero worship and got rid of Cunningham so come on Derek act before its too late

I can't see much changing ,as Derek has stated on Twitter , he will keep investing and backing the Club, which is all well and good , but we need changes before its to late,there is a Statue of KC outside Saints ground yet Mcmannus still got rid of him,we must act now before we lose anymore games,the next 3 games are Toulouse,Fev , and Fax, all potential losses,it could end our season if we lose a couple more.I think SL will be a closed shop very soon and we could end up missing the boat.

I'm not sure how you resolve the issues at present Charlie. A new coaching set-up would take time to mend this and the fixtures you mention in my eyes would still be in jeopardy. Getting rid of the current coaching set-up as DB states would also come at a financial cost.

To be honest the Club is in a vulnerable position as the headhunt is now on the coaching staff,not the players! So that requires the management to intervene. Its a massive test for DB and how he deals with it.

Its an answer to fire,but the real question is who do they hire?

Well well, Jukes being showed up as the limited coach he always was.. When you have a coach who tells his players to stick to the gameplan irrespective of what's in front of you, you're in trouble.. Compounded by the fact the gameplan is something a 11 year old could dream up. 4 drives up the middle, then a kick so telegraphed or miss-kicked you give up possession.

Jukes finally got rid of the disruptive elements of the team (aka Rowleys lads) and surprise surprise there is no fight or heart left, bunch of mercs after a pay day going through the motions, why wouldn't they? They get paid either way, no loyalty to the club or town.
