My god that was close, i got worried when we were camped at the other end and didn't score but Fax broke away and scored . It didn't sound pretty on Leigh Life radio and i think the commentary team were spot on with them blaming KH for the Fax tactics, right i can go to bed now

Holy cow that sounded like a barn burner of a game. Well done to the lads

I will wait to see the game before I pass any comment on anything to do with the many incidents that were evident on the radio coverage, but I will say right now that this team deserves every positive word that has been spoken about it this season and more.
They simply will not give up or back down

It was poor reffing for me. You could see it coming. 4 penalties in a row, 3 from same guy then just complete stupidity from there 11. To be fair to Barlow, I have knocked his discipline a few times this season, but he could have kicked off a few times and didn't, in the end he couldn't because he was flat out.

Hope the reports are not true

It was a gritty performance from a tired team but it seems the brawls are coming too regularly. Fax had a couple of thugs that a stronger ref would have deal with but they didn't fight amongst themselves, fortunately the game wasn't on TV.

Harrison is a terrible coach. His tactics were disgraceful in that second half. If he had only concentrated his team on playing Rugby League, Halifax would have gone home with the points considering our monumental effots at Leeds on Friday

That was one hell of a game. Mennel should have walked as well as his team mate. He instigated the second round of brawling with Liam Kay. There were too many head shots coming in from Fax for that game not to boil over. Can't believe the lad who laid out Sam Barlow was left on the field. I think that the Championship refs will be getting a call from their bosses about the way they deal with brawls from now on. It needs to be sorted as it is getting all to frequent. What Harrison was upset about after the brawl is beyond me. His player started it and his player started it again. The lad who did Riddy should have walked. It was a clear shot to the head with a swinging arm. We should have beaten them with a wider margin but the entertainment on show tonight was great. Without the rubbish I thought Fax played some good rugby and I think they will finish second if they can keep the same team on the field. Young Chris Hankinson had a good first outing and also took a very good smack in the face in a tackle that went unpunished. Why that try was disallowed in the second half was beyond me. He gave it for obstruction but it looked to me like the player doing the obstructing was behind the ball player. Will have to look at that again on LCTV. Again we bombed a try for a stupid forward pass didn't we.
All in all a very entertaining game of RL. A proper throw back game.

It was evident the way the game was suddenly degenerating and I was shouting at the ref to call the captains together and give them some harsh words.

Quite frankly. Leatherbarrow was oblivious to it.
