Just had it confirmed by @leedsrhinos on twitter that with 2 days selling to go they have currently sold just short of 1000 tickets and have filled 6 coaches upto now. With 2 days to go and possible walk up on the day they should be looking at bringing 1500-2000 with them and I am now confident we can break 5000

Well, if what's been posted on here about sales in the North stand is anything to go by, there is a very good chance that there will be over 3k Leythers there.....which, in the context of current home gates would have to be considered a 'result'!!

Am I right in thinking under 11s are free? If I were Leigh i'd hand every primary school kid within a 5 mile radius a free ticket.. hell its free anyway and see if you can entice a few paying adults along with them. You're bound to stick a few hundred on the gate and you never know, they might come back

The free under 11's are on the condition of being accompanied by a full paying adult (believe there's actually a general stadium rule that under 11's have to be accompanied).

So they've got your details blah blah, why make people go to the effort? Never understood that one, if they like the product they'll come back. Seriously, Leigh should be in every school today and tomorrow with someone in your mascotts costume handing out a ticket to everyone whether they want one or not

just picked 5 tickets up gettin the buzz now cant wait.been mentioned about the schools being visited etc.im a true leyther and love watching my team,so would love more fans coming in.for a future match say why not give 4 adult tickets and 30 kids tickets to every school and put them in the east stand (see if someone will sponser the rental).also ask them to make their own leigh centurions banner and the winners get a prize or their banner stays in the east stand. parents who want to come with them can pay and let the kids have a chance of watching their local team.

Some good ideas, im sure it could be initiated. I just dont think it would require much effort to trapse round the schools over the next couple of days and get some kids down, get 100 paying adults and you've done a great job

i think we have given tickets too schools and only a small percentage of people used them. Target age would be high schools IMO, they can come without their parents.

I'd be amazed Publican if your any where near that 1k figure
