Of course Salford are not at salary cap to start with. Not sure how this will help Salford in the short-term because income streams will only kick in during the playing season. They could possibly argue that the severe cuts do not have to be so severe, but it will depend on how realistic those income stream will be. They may still have to sell players before the season starts.
