Wigan we’re very good last night, having French and field on the ball so much changed there whole set up, we had no answer o for the speed of either, Wigans line speed was tremendous all night and shut down the edges, ipape was s**te he was playing behind a beaten pack I get that but he has to jump and go and keep the line speed honest, Davies jumped twice and made good yardage, not a game we should be targeting in fairness, plenty of more important games, thought mulhern stood out and played big minutes, Ethan Harvard was a joy to watch, big and great footwork

Disappointing night regarding how we played , credit though to the effort , there was no lack of that on show . Wigan stepped up a few gears and bossed us from start to finish and pin pointed our strengths, Lam GOB and Kai and marked them out of the game. Need more strength as every one knows and I’m sure CC and Derek will address
As for the event , as ever really enjoyed it

Really impressed with Leigh so far this season and Derek is doing one hell of a job making every single game an event hats off to him and a lot of other teams need to follow suit, as for the game Wigan stepped up massively compared to recent weeks and looked really good. leigh probably a little fatigued after there great win over Hull and fitness probably showed towards the end of the game. thought lams summary of the game was right ob was taken out and yellow could have been red did cost us our full back which badly affected us in the end fields try was marginal and the did get bounce of ball 40/20 got 1 try french had a point to prove starting at fb and alarm bells went off each time he got the ball

Being a bit more philosophical about the match and mainly listening to my mates who watch Wigan, I don't think either having a full compliment or being less shattered would have got us a result, those same mates were surprised at just how much Wigan had improved over the first seven games and it just happened to all come together against us.

I'll take a dispiriting and humbling loss to Wigan if it means points elsewhere and staying up and hopefully that is a lot of the players "bad match" out of the way.
