Very confident we can compete with any team on any given day. We lack a bit of depth so will feel injuries/bans more than most will hurt

Looking at the starting 1 - 7 I think on paper it is Salford all day long for the win, the question then is how our forwards perform, they were indifferent v Wigan and have to improve. The backs and being expensive is where we really hurt teams and can win v Leigh providing the forwards lay a platform.

What’s your likely 1-7 on Friday, believe you have a few injuries

Not sure to be honest, we have a couple out but the starting 1-7 is Brierley, Sio, Cross, Lafai. Burgess, Croft and Syned. I think Sarge is missing currently.

Of that I would take Lafai and Croft only. Burgess and Sio are no better than What we have and Hardaker, Lam and Leutele are better
Assuming Amone is free to play with no evidence to support, then our pack will be heavily on top

You rate your wingers above Burgess and Sio? Wow, Sio has been either top or 2nd in the try SL scoring charts for the past couple of years. Most SL teams would take Sio and Burgess over Charnley / Briscoe or Chamberlain. Fair enough Hardaker and Leutele are decent and a threat.

Well there must be evidence to support surely or he wouldn’t have been charged - my understanding of this is that it would take something out of the ordinary not to have a 6-8 game ban

I’d have Sio in a heartbeat, no question. We just need to stop the ball getting out to him !

Can wait for Friday, deffo want to spoil the Leyther party but equally hope its a good game and Derek's season opening spectacular gets an awesome Crowd. Fair play with the band and all that.

I don't believe Salford have won away to Leigh since 2005, and certainly haven't won at LSV. I'm hoping that tune doesn't change this time!

Having said that, Paul Rowley has won plenty of games at LSV...
