What was a difficult job for Duffs has been made impossible due to lack of investment on players. The silence has been deafening from Beaumont on that subject. The exodus, it seems, has already begun with Russell, Mason and Thornley rumoured to have signed elsewhere and you can hardly blame them. One year contracts... That'll be another brand new squad for the championship then next season with a new coach to boot. Makes you wonder why we even bothered applying for superleague when we've gone at it so half heartedly. Absolute shambles.

How difficult is it to offer deals that say XX salary in the Championship or XX salary in the SL?
