VL , it was a scrappy game ,a lot of stoppages and to many penalties given away.
The changes did make a difference ,we had Mullen ,Spencer ,Brooks,Shaw,Wildie at Stand off, yet still won with ease, Ben Reynolds had another very good game, Thorniley was my MoM had another very good game.
Everyone did their job and Batley never gave up , they are no mugs,we are in the next round of the Cup, one drawback was Liam Hoods injury , he left the ground on crutches , so Wildie will be at 9 next week.

Never looked troubled by Batley. It looks like we have a very versatile squad. We played a lot of different combinations today and nobody looked out of place. All bodes well for the rest of the season. Hopefully we don’t upset the apple cart later in the season with signing so called superstars to get us over the line.

Thought Craig Mullen was excellent in the 1st half....

Hopefully it’s a good game , I won’t be at the next couple of games , Swinton and Fax ,as I have Family things to do, I’m back for the Oldham game.
In theory we should win our next 3games and go to Fev for a cracker.
