Quote: CHEADLE LEYTHER "Jo Platt was s member of the Shadow cabinet, so obviously a Corbynite and a self confessed remoaner. So she got her just deserts managing to lose a 13,000 majority built up by Andy Burnham. The writing was on the wall the Saturday before the election after a daily mail poll showed the Tories at 40% to Labour 39 %. On Bradshawgate you couldn’t move for Labour canvassers for the first time ever!!'"
Jo Platt went against the party whip to vote Johnson's deal through to second reading. She voted against May's deal, which was widely condemned, particularly by ardent, frothing at the mouth leavers that like to use the term "remoaner" (figures such as Boris Johnson).
The one thing she has voted to block is No Deal brexit. In about 5 months time, Grundy will be faced with a similar dilemma.
