I could only hazard a guess as to the going rate for a top player for Leigh RLFC and how much pro rata per game, but the feeling is that the rise from the 2019 season is extremely excessive.

I would tend to agree with you there. If LSV are on a % of gate money, they must have done better than expected, out of Leigh, last season. However, I suspect it could be the extras, like stewarding, where they have scope to up their charges. (or the % of the 'gate')
