Hi Alan - yes there are a few players whose position I wasn't sure about - Addy, Wildie & Hellewell. I guess it will depend on who else comes in - if its the likes of Sammut and Patten then Addy & Wildie will probably be in the pack.

At this stage I don't think the forwards are any better than last season - Douglas, T. Adamson & Cator were three of the standouts last season and they have all gone (not sure about Adamson yet). So as Monty says we need a couple good biguns.

We need a big fast Prop !!

True actually, as much as I admire & respect Chris Hill for his time with Leigh & his earlier years at Wire he doesn't seem half as effective as he was, slower, breaks less tackles/doesn't win collision & less yards made *though a statistician will now prove me wrong* !

He was being hit hard for long minutes as a 17yo, and has carried the wire pack since Morley retired

He’s 32 now Mo. Taken bigger hits for many a year than he did when he was 17. Those latter years are now showing.

Yes I agree something appears to have gone from Chris Hill's game

I always thought he should have kept the comb over as that coincided when his form began to drop for me.

No such thought for Bobby Charlton who was able to retire from his sport right at the very top of his game as a legend.

A lesson learned one may say.
