Quote: LeythIg "Brierley let them off the hook with an ill judged and poorly executed kick through, early in the tackle count to gift them a seven tackle set. This was just after we’d gone 4-2 up and then forced a drop out the next set. Shortly afterwards he was falling for Craven’s step which led to the first try.
The last two games since the chequebook has been more prominent have been particularly poor. I hope that’s just coincidence. I don’t know if players are injured or not, but if Forsyth, Cox, Spencer, Brooks and A Thornley have been chucked out to the long grass in favour of some ‘names’ that we’ve signed then we really have learned nothing.'"
Good post that Leythig, I agree with all of it. I think Forsyth was cup tied yesterday though. I have always said Brierley is not a good halfback, but we didn't have anybody else really.
