No , not at all , but if you don't donate , then how and why LISA operates is NONE of YOUR business , if you are too stupid to see that , that's your problem

NOBODY has said it is compulsory , and NOBODY has criticised ANYBODY if they choose not to donate , BUT , if you don't buy a lottery ticket , don't moan about not winning the LOTTERY

It's a simple choice and very prudent of the club to work with and promote LISA IMO,

If you want to help the club, come and watch the team and do so.

If you want to join LISA and help the club fund a better team then do so.

If you want to watch better TV than freeview, subscribe to SKY Movies and do so.

If you want to go to the pub, drink beer and socialise do so.

If you can't do any of that then do not.

If you can only do one of the above then do it.

If you don't want to do any of that then don't.

Sorry but you are shifting the rugby posts. I don’t care how LISA operates, I do care about blackmail statements. It was a tough decision from my old man to renew his season ticket, I live away from Leigh so can’t go every week. His view is the club has been badly ran for years, lies upon lies have compounded this. He got to a point that the enjoyment was gone, the heart of the club was gone and why should he fork out more money (he sponsored Riddys shorts a few years ago) when it gets frittered away.

This started with a very poorly worded statement on the clubs web-site saying if people signed up to LISA we could afford to sign McNally, i.e. if they don’t he wont sign. Which turns out is a blatant lie. If it said through the fantastic work of the club and LISA we have afforded McNally but further signings could be made easier by you supporting LISA you’d get fantastic buy-in.

Not my understanding if I am honest.

Most sponsors have been appreciative of the loss of £1.5 million central funding and the position we are now in. New sponsors have also come on board for 2019 and I know of one company, aiming for double digit growth this year keen to get involved for 2020.

There is also an understanding that to get back to where we belong we can only work with and reap what we can sow.

It is our Town, Our Team.

Ultimately it is the people of Leigh collectively behind it who will decide if the dream can be turned into a reality.

Seriously though Harold, you are right - it's all a matter of personal choice. My personal opinion is, that if the club's statement had been worded differently (and coherently) we wouldn't be having this debate/argument now. (just as Draexnael said, afew posts back)

The statement was written by a either fool or a con man, either way it seems it was a cheap trick.

I have joined L.I.S.A over the weekend and so have 3 friends. If it helps long term bringing players in and helping the club survive then so be it . Those that cant afford to put in money are the same as the ones that dont imo , its just a choice thats all . We are all Leigh Fans no matter what !
