Has he? He is still owner, he can still make any decision, he can pull his "loan" at any time. So no he hasn't done everything. That would be to write off the loans, so they can actually be called "investments" like half this forum sadly believe.

As a previous poster has said, nothing has changed; he's still the owner, the club still owes him a massive debt and he's still pulling the strings. The only difference is that officially he has now separated himself from any future backlash, but you can bet your bottom dollar that future statements and press stories will still include quotes from 'Leigh's owner' rather than Leigh's head coach or Leigh's Chairman. Same old, same old.

That would be a little silly to be honest. He is the main shareholder, sending the club bankrupt is something he has avoided. He has a full season to sell now or accept better or upgraded offers.

Either way simply taking a back seat and not prepared to spend anymore isn’t really in the interest of the Club. Pass on what you own with a handshake and let others take the reigns.

If you want to buy him out give him a call. Yes I know he could drop us in it, but he hasn't and doesn't appear likely to do so either. I would imagine most teams in SL are under that threat.

They guy has clearly worked himself silly to sort the mess out, it's not just about his money it's the effort he put in to keep us afloat - and yes that protects his money also, but at the end of the day he's given us a competitive team that should be there or there about the play offs
