Those prima donna's that where payed good money to do a job for the club wiped their R'soles on the Leigh rugby shirt and threw it back at him, they alone are the reason the club is in this situation, not Mr B, nor the coaches, they themselves the player's, not many of them (there are a few exceptions) I do not believe can look in the eye's of that man in mirror and say I earned my money, I gave it my all.

Most sensible post yet. Stop blaming Jukes Etc the players who we employed are responsible for the performances, The people who paid out good money for these players need to ask why we paid out such money in the championship for these players

Lets not forget this is the 2nd season we held players to ransom over unpaid contracts.

Its all well and good Maurice & Co stating its a business and redundancies are part of business life, that would be easier for your average fan to take if it were players that had some history with the club i.e Ridyard, Higson, Beswick, Dixon, McNally.

Everyone knows Derek went or bust with a big budget, albeit partly funded by himself and lost.

That's what makes it so much harder to take.

Are you in 'un-named' 1%er's Binosh who said before the season started that this assembled squad would fail, or did you like nearly everyone else applaud Derek for bringing all those stars to the club?

Could you see any other club in any sport bring a whole new squad & expect it to hit the ground running after only playing 2 warm ups ? ... whoever thought that one is at fault

Actually I was very sceptical and had a suspicion we would implode, I was of the opinion the team we had in SL was more than capable of holding its own with minor tweaking, I still believe to this day a new coach would have kept us in SL. Derek has already alluded to the fact we didn't finish bottom of SL and another pre-season and continuity would have seen us finish top 4 in the Championship easily.

The players I would have moved on were Stewart, Vea, Weston, Fleming, Pellisier, Green, Patterson, Dave Thompson & probably Hampshire. I think there is enough space created there to bring some solid players in.

I am of the belief that after 2/3 of the SL season (roughly when we lost in the cup to KR) Jukes should have been moved, I think that a fresh injection of man-management was needed.

It’s all ifs and buts all we can do is hope for the best and learn from our mistakes. It’s not going to happen over night or next couple of seasons but we will get back to we need to be just have to rebuild from the bottom

I attended the pre season launch and knew straightaway it wasn't going to end well
It didn't make sense to get rid of virtually everyone and start all over and the questions asked and the answers given didn't make me excited
Now it's going to happen again even without a points deduction it's going to be a massive struggle to stay in the championship
I do think however the board will have players all ready to sign when this mess is sorted

The standard of player that they are willing to sign they might end up getting a few good hidings like west wales last season this no good for rugby and player welfare going out every week knowing you going to get a cricket score shoved up you

I'd like to think that too Lynda, even after the Radio Manchester interview the other night - when we didn't actually get to learn much, if anything, new.

No idea how many pre season games but Man U Ladies are a whole new squad doing ok
