| Quote Harry Stottle="Harry Stottle"OK, Agree I agree that the guy has a bit of an edge, but to say he has buried our club is a load of bollux, I attended all but 3 of Leigh's games last season home and away included the those first 6, as always I pay attention to everything that happens on the pitch and I never saw Beaumont once miss a tackle, drop a ball, give a forward pass etc, and it was the same with the coaches who were employed - albeit I didn't agree with their tactics and game plans -, the only people to blame were some of those over-rated, over-payed, couldn't care less men in the cherry and white shirts, employed to do a job and completely messed it up.
Be honest, after the trial games v Wigan and Saints were you exited for the season ahead, and giving praise to the guy's who assembled and payed to group them together? I was and I didn't speak to anyone who thought they would fail in the spectacular manner in which they did, had that team gone unbeaten you would now be praising Beaumont, he is victim to being let down by those he payed good money to and subsequently let him and the rest of us all down.'"
Never missed a tackle? It was noted a few times in the latter part of the season that Beaumont was away and not at matches.
You may of missed my first post a few weeks ago, if you wish to defend Beaumont, can you explain why a current coach at Warrington said to me in person that he wouldnt join Leigh because of Beamont?
And can you explain why Jack Hansen and other local Leigh lads wont join Leigh? One lad I know dosen't like DB and wont join.

| Quote LeythIg="LeythIg"Players may have been the ones to miss tackles, drop balls etc... But they were totally unprepared for the season. That was the fault of the coach. The fact the coach was still in place was the fault of the owner.'"
How so were they unprepared Leythig, tgey had a pre season together played 3 trial games two against the top two clubs in the land, who both played strong teams against them, and just to add most of them had either SL or NRL expierience it is not as though they were brought together from the wilderness or they were all recruits from Rugby Union who had bever played League before, no they were seasoned professionals and in those first 5 losses they could not hack it with 2 other fill time teams and 3 part time teams, I was one of those who didn't want Jukes to and Cunningham to carry on in '18, but that squad could and should have won those 5 games with the 'supposed' quality they possesed, they simply let everyone down.

Not really a squad that should've won the league easily. No full back, no pace in the team, two half backs too similar to each other, then lost two prop forwards (Vaivai and Patrick) early which left us light up front.

Good points, but please expand on your "unprepared for the season"

Losing 5 out of first 6 was a clue on how well prepared for the season they were. Players looked overweight / unfit. We lost both friendlies, how often do we lose that pre season friendly against Wigan? They only played 2 friendlies, on at home another at a SL ground, not really preparing you for a February afternoon in Barrow. No games against Championship or League 1 teams in pre season, with a squad of players where the majority have never played outside top flight.

KP stated, in an interview, that he thought the major reason for our disastrous start, was that many players treated the Championship, and its players and stadia, with insufficient respect. To me, that is an all round lack of preparation.

I don't know. Did moral principles (i.e. ethics) come into his brief though? (although one of his predecessors resigned, quoting just that)

You mean did he ' challenge ' it at the time ?
Probably not , because like everybody else , you only realise these things afterwards , just as those claiming on here to have ' seen ' or ' known ' that things weren't right are bull*******g ,
Again , hindsight , if only you could bottle it

Alan as my post above alludes to , you mean at the time within the coaching structure ? , probably not , as just like the rest of us , after 2 good performances against this years best 2 SL teams he thought we would be a power in the Championship , even the best coaches get it wrong sometimes
