Quote: Zulu01 "Saw the incident, Jamie was well out of order - we don't need this in our team. The lad was in a bad way. If it was caught on video - bye Jamie for at least 6 matches possibly longer.
Any news on how Hemingway is, he was taken to Hospital (blue lighter)'"
I was sat in the Stand and Hemingway had his back to me but I saw Jamie collide with him and Hemingway hit the ground. People around me were of the opinion that Hemingway had perhaps banged his head on the hard pitch has he landed as none of us saw anything untoward and, I didn't see the linesman rush on or, the Batley enraged ! The most important issue here is Tom Hemingway's welfare and, we all wish him a speedy and full recovery and hope to see him back on the pitch soon.
Jamie wont need any enemies down at Red Hall, he's got enough on this Forum! Ill need to see better than a still Photo to make a judgement! Poster's are even criticising his performance's on the Pitch? he constantly makes more yards than his team mates and his 'go forward' is badly missed when he is absent! He too receives a lot of rough treatment however, he never shy's away even though he is often targeted! The amount of head injuries he has sustained this season would have put a lessor man down!
Apologies also to Jimmy Child, he must have eyes at the back of his head? so full marks to him if he claims to have seen the incident!
Lets wait to see what the evidence provides before we 'hang' him, a player being Hospitalised is not always the result of some kind of 'savage play' .
Regardless, Jamie is a fans favourite because they appreciate his efforts on the Pitch! If the evidence proves he has acted in a thuggish and cowardly manner then he cannot complain about the punishment he will receive!
