Said as soon as he was listed to ref us he wouldn't do us any favours. McDermots comments didn't help, and you can't really argue with the sending offs. But, whilst refs of course have to have a confidence about them, his seems to be an arrogance. Not just the Leeds game, but every time I watch him it always has to be about him getting the attention, doubt he's ever played the game because he seems to have no concept or logic from a players point of view.
Using that last try as an example, why the heck could he not go to the VR, the linesman seemed to highlight it to him, it's clear something had gone on at the ruck - and that's not condoning Dawson's actions in any way shape or form.
