I have tried to remain positive throughout and you have really helped me. To carry on trying even though it does get difficult agreed with all rugby points as well. Thanks once again mate. Positive stories are really important. It's tempting to trawl the internet for anything on GBM4. My advice is don't. One exception is the Macmillan forums which have a GBM4 group. I have found it really useful. My wife doesn't want to look at anything. If you think I can help you in any way then send me a PM.

A positive story for you to hold on to. My wife was diagnosed with brain tumour in June 2014..... It was Glioblastoma Multiforme Stage 4. Median survival of 14 months. She has survived 2 craniotomies, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. It's not been easy but she has a strong will to survive. She is not the woman she was but she still has a decent quality of life. I have given up a lot of the things I used to enjoy to be there for her. I didn't expect her to survive so long and,with the benefit of hindsight, didn't need to. As a Bulls supporter for nearly 50 years I thought I'd seen it all and it seems clear that things must change quickly at the LSV as the move downwards can soon gain impetus.

Great news for you i lost my wife to a brain tumour 7 years ago despite all the hard work of the nurses and doctors
