Watson had Salford playing good rugby. I question his ability to win a real arm wrestle of a game. Is he hard enough to manage this team? I don’t think so. We harp on we’ve so many NRL appearances in this team. We need someone who won’t let egos take over. Watson again I doubt it. Is Watson man enough to stand up to DB and make him keep out? He couldn’t keep Doc out of meddling at Salford could he?

Good points Tom. But in all honesty who is going to keep Derek out of matters this is why it looks like Cunningham will get the gig cos I think that with him Degsy will get all area access and more so happy days. At least for those two

KP was assistant to Mick Potter and Royce Simmons at St Helens, and Paul (Baloo) Anderson at Huddersfield Giants. I for one really hope he can turn this around, and if he does, he should stand up for what he wants with no interference from above. He may even get the job full time.

Missed Basil off, but i agree KP have an opportunity to step out of the shadows. I feel he should take this and run with it, my only concern is he is part of the coaching set up which has failed and has had the team disengage

Fair post TBH, But i'm just not sure about Basil,That's why i want KP to do well,and not be a yes man to DB. If someone is to come in,then i would like to try Baloo, and KP as his assistant coach.

Gotta say I like DB’s comments today and nice to hear he is trying to look after Jukes post Rugby bu offering him a job. We live in the moment and forget about people post rugby. You only have to look at our captain mal alker to see how it can all go wrong. Be proud of your club and owner in acting in a dignified way.

Good luck for the rest of the season and hope u guys do well, but your not having Watto he’s a best coach for quite a while so imagine we would put up quite a fight as can see him having a bright future.
