How much time and what budget do you recommend before you decide to replace the coaching team?
Leigh had a cracking squad last year supported by a healthy budget and enthusiastic and (dare I say dynamic?) backroom team, and although they didn't finish bottom, it's hard to argue that they massively underachieved. Decisions were consistently inconsistent.
After the Toronto game this year comparisons were made with the Batley game from 2016 and how we bounced back from an unexpected defeat to gain SL promotion. Jukes played Rangi Chase at fullback and the defeat was apparently unexpected! An inspired player selection if there ever was one. However, Rangi playing out of position isn't a contributing factor this year, it seems a little more complex than that.
