I'm only following Mark Taylor's twitter and that's disappointing enough. Hopefully we cam gel a bit better and pull it together as the season progresses. It's pretty much a new squad so, I suppose some time is required.

Having witnessed that, and much as it pains me to say it, we were comprehensively out-thought, out-coached, out-muscled, out-paced (have we nobody who can match Cory for pace?!) and out-played.

Yes, I know it's a one-off, (so far) but can anyone honestly say (on that performance) that we have a single player to match Kay, Brierley, Dixon, or even (and especially) Bob Beswick? Beswick is still an outstanding player, who plays the ref brilliantly and still an outstanding motivator.

Yes, there must (surely) be lots of improvement in us - but then again, there could also be improvement in Toronto!

On a sadder note, I hope and pray that those involved in the appalling traffic accident on St Helens Road, have survived, and that they can recover quickly. Thoughts are with them and their nearest and dearest, right now.

Hi Caslad. Yes, you spotted, we all spotted it, buy worryingly, none of those playing and coaching seemed to have spotted it! Completely new squad, but same old problems with indiscipline, choosing the wrong options and a total failure to exert any pressure whatsoever, on the final tackle.

I can't believe your coach selected Dawson and Owens ahead of Ilias Bergal.

I have been seething since paying to watch that today and you seemed to have summed up my thoughts pretty well with far more restraint than I could do.
Very unhappy with that showing today, the players and coaching staff now need to work damn hard and realise that today has to be a one off blip not to be repeated, can live with outplayed but can't accept out enthused.
