we need to make SL teams to have reserve teams,youngsters need bringing through all the levels to get the skills needed to make SL players.The teams at present are just using the system by having players out on loan to other teams.Some money from wherever needs to be invested in the reserve league

We've been there before with licensing.We need new ideas,not failed ones.

If we not going all in with a academy team then I would not bother at all if the lads good enough they will get picked up off a bigger club if not it’s back to amateur rugby which will bolster the dropping numbers in the local sides

See the academy got a good hiding again. Is there any point in putting our name to a lost cause? If you not going to do it proper it’s not fair on the lads who are playing I played for the academy when it was run right lads was chomping at bit to play but it just seems like they going through the motions with this

Played most of the match 11 against 17. Unfair to accuse the lads of “going through the motions”

Should have 30 leigh lads wanting to play not 13 where all the local lads why they not playing? There to many lads not from leigh in the team that’s why there no pride in wearing the shirt. People moan that there is no leigh lads left in the team and this is why cause we don’t have a proper set up it won’t change unless we have these lads playing competitive rugby on a regular basis

Mcnally still not got a club and Leigh not offered him any contract at all for him to agree or not agree to which I see as stupid as he proven intros league we in Stewart and vea have gone don’t know where I’m just glad get rid of them as they was not upto much last season

The game as a whole needs a proper set up. Its a disgrace.

I think Vea put some decent performances in after a shaky start

Our quota spots seem far better this season IMO, and that's not a criticism of him or any of the others
