Had the pleasure of meeting MH last year after the game against us. A real, real genuine bloke. Had loads of time for the kids (mostly Widnes fans) pics, autographs the lot. Have a good retirement Mickey. One of the last tough nut hookers. All the best pal.

Very pleased to see that Mickey is staying within the club. When I was over last year and at a couple of games with my Dad and Mum he was at the main door both times greeting folk, signing autographs and posing for pics. Home and away species alike. We said hello, great representative then.
I was initially a disappointed to see he was not going to be playing but.......
I think this, coupled with other signing, departures and back room changes shows that as a club we are not only planning on a big push next season, but already looking ahead to being back in SL the season after. That is a theme in everything I see us doing since the MPG
