Im gutted for you lot. I think the bottom team should go, this year it was us, we weren't good enough, end of. We have got out of jail big time. I hope Leigh come straight back, the frogs offer zero to SL. Fair play to DB comments, but as a Widnes fan tonight, I have genuine sympathy with Leigh fans tonight. Im positive we will cross paths in next years middle 8's, but I genuinely hope you paste the Toronto wannabes. I think you will keep hold of most of your players and be stronger for going down.

To be fair,On that showing today,we have got we deserved. We have a full season now to put right what we have failed on. But lessons must be leaned that's for sure. Will we learn them? I hope so. |

Sympathies-
But to those who are saying it's one game... it's not. Teams are given a whole season to show they have what it takes.
Leigh's s fell out in the final game.... but they were in that game because they weren't a top 8 side for 23 rounds- and weren't a top 3 side of the rest.
I do think however that teams coming up should be given a years "grace" to enable them to sort contracts etc.
Leigh will still be a better side than the rest in the championship. So I expect them to be challenging next season.

Unlucky to leigh today (wish widnes would of been there cos of betts)think how its all down to one game is unfair had these teams won enough sl games or sl qualifies games they wouldnt be playing in this game anyway.as for the concept i think its great but im wakey and 2 years ago we where rock bottom then scraped in into mpg and the rest is history
