Childs didn't think those two incidents warranted 10 mins in the bin yet, Hanbury was binned for holding down and that proved to be very costly for Widnes!

That's the trouble with the laws as they stand. The RFL see technical offences such a holding down in certain circumstance deserving of an automatic 10 minutes in the sin bin yet violence is left to the discretion of the referee.

Shows lack of balance in the original squad. Able to send two pivots out on loan, but a centre gets injured and we have to reshuffle the whole back line.

Indeed , I'm still angry that McShane's blatant dangerous and deliberate IMO spear tackle against Hock in the opening minute of our 1 st game warranted nothing more than a penalty ( and a warning for Gareth for his reaction ) , and yet he then received a 3 match ban , it was a televised game , ridiculous

Get a grip Cokey he told me that there was a spear tackle on Hock. He did not say what offence Hock committed to get his ban. From your response I guess it was a spear tackle as well. You obviously already knew that but is was not obvious to a non Leigh fan.
