Just to put the record straight, recognition form Derek was neither wanted or needed as myself and my partner chose to quit running the radio broadcasts when DP was able to do them himself (and I was having increasing problems with my back) nothing more, nothing less. Also the support group had already disbanded as the club was back on it's feet and our services were no longer needed in the same way as they were before the new group took over. We were all happy about that as at times the club was literally hours away from going bust.

You're right though, I do have issues with Derek but not for anything he's done to me, in fact (and I have mentioned this on here before) he once did a really nice thing for my daughter and for that, I thanked him then and I thank him now. That doesn't take away from the fact that I do have issues but unfortunately they aren't things I can write about on here.

I hate injustice and those people (especially those in power) who go out of their way to do others harm make me sick to my stomach. I'm not a sheep and never have been and sometimes that has got me in hot water but my dad always told me to never be afraid of speaking out and so I'm not.
