All of the above.
Bongser's first memory in this vein, is being on Old Pa Bongser's shoulders as the Challenge Cup was paraded around Leythe (the last (or rather latest) time that is).
The only other one Bongser thinks worth sharing (most may disagree) is of his father at a turnstile at Hilton Park. He paid his admission and, as doing so, asked the attendant if it would be okay for his lad to hop over. The attendant winked and nodded his head towards the interior. His face changed when the skin and bone, spidery legs of a 6'3" early teenage Bongser took the turnstile in his stride

Does anyone remember going to A team games in the 60's on a Saturday, and then waiting anxiously for the half-time and full time scores to be announced over the tannoy for the first team playing away on the same day? That meant you could never leave early, but it usually ended up in disappointment in pre-Murphy era!
