One to chuck out to everyone but I wonder if we will (or need to) consider going for 8pm kick off on Friday or 6.30pm Saturday in the 8 fixtures at home (if not on TV)?
Last season we played all bar one at 3pm on a Saturday (due to TV) which was all played in very high temperatures against established SL clubs which took a lot of juice out of the tank of our forwards(ironically the only bad weather we had in the 8's at home was v Sheffield and we won easily........).
I presume Leeds, Huddersfield and Salford all play at 8pm Fri anyhow, So is playing at 3pm an advantage (chance of good vocal following) or is 8pm or 6.30pm a sensible decision for playing RL in August?
Not sure there's much advantage to shifting game day with the Qualifiers TV day being Saturday. We might need to consider playing regularly on Saturdays if we go up & have to contend with the madness of Thursday night games. Really hope we don't decide to go for weeknight fixtures regularly, such a faff & rush trying to get back from work & get to the game. Yes some people work Sundays but many many more work Fridays. Friday night games are for clubs who value their sponsors more than their fans.
