You got to applaud him for saying that, if he doesn't think something lies right then he has done the decent thing. When did he first start to believe, the belief in that belief? Thing is, has he jeopardised his employment potential now. Who wants a coach that quits when you're given such a good squad to succeed with? With the investment made by DB, Super League is clearly his desired outcome and if he doesn't attain that goal, what is the alternative, he may even decide to pull out his investment. I think it's Super League or back to square one (not bust) this year.
