Spot on mate,he responded a few times last year,just at the end of December he did an article in RL World clearly stating he's here for the season,they all seem to fall on deaf ears though.

Sadly a lot of the rumours are regurgitated by some Leigh fans who seem to revel in it,I think they will believe what they want regardless of what he says.

I have since listened to DB'S interview

Brierley has said several times over the last few months that he'll be at Leigh this season... Maybe he should tell his agent.

Watching the interview, have to wonder whether his contract was drawn up by the same person that drew up Hock's settlement contract with Salford!

Who is Brierley's agent anyway? He's not doing the lad any favours is he? If I were Ryan I'd tell him to sling his hook and find himself someone a bit more professional.

The author jumped the gun on Neil Jukes too, referring to him getting the job as a caretaker. At least League Weekly hung on to report that he is a 'permanent' replacement.

I too have watched the interview on LCTV and think it's a very good one. We are left in no doubt that Ryan wants to stay, and that the strange clause in his contract is unenforceable.

We had 2 years of every Super League club signing him at some point, except Widnes and Wakefield I think. I predict this season you will be in for some fantastic fictional writing in the press! It'll give you a laugh if nothing else. As a genuine question, bearing in mind Rangi plays his best rugby at 6, how do you guys see Chase and Brierley fitting in together? Do you think they will play in the halves together, or Ridyard partnering one of them and the other to full back? Or Rangi interchanging at hooker from halfback, which he can do very effectively?
