| Quote vbfg="vbfg"290,000. The Bradford Met district is 500k, but that includes Keighley, Ilkley and a whole bunch of other places that aren't Bradford but happen to have the same council.
Small towns with one employer where everyone leads the same life always do better percentage wise for crowds.'"
Leave Featherstone out of this.

When the bulls fans rolled into Wakefield for the million pound game, they struggled to bring 2,000 fans, 3.000 for an away championship game even at Fax is pure fantasy.

| 3,000 should be enough but still you'd expect a better venue than this. I don't know Sheffield so may be wrong but I find it hard to believe that the top 3 football/rugby venues in one of the biggest cities in England are Hillsborough, Bramall Lane & Sheffield Hallam University PE department playing fields. Still, can't be worse than Owlerton I suppose.

| Just checked the place out. The pitch looks great and the pavilion is very smart. If they build the temporary stand which is not a big deal then it will be a very good move for them. The only thing that may prove a problem are the low floodlights but I bet there are a lot worse in a lot of other stadia in our league. Good luck to them.

Not if it happened.
Lets not bring Wakey in to this though as i am sure every Championship fan breathed a sigh of relief when Wakey stayed up because their traveling support would be more akin to Dewsbury than Bradford.

I don't think SL clubs would agree with you regards to Wakefield's away support, but it's good you stick up for your second tier counterparts, not that I would take anything seriously regarding attendances from a Halifax fan

No no you are right, I could almost hear Sl clubs Chairman rubbing their hands with glee at the thoughts of once again getting visited by the Wakefield traveling army rather than Bradford.

You had the whole western terrace to yourself which was not quite full, which holds approx 2000. add to that the few fans dispersed in other area's of the ground and there you have it, based on what the standing area holds not guesswork from gregory flomo's booits
