Thing is fella, we know we failed so the owner went out and bought 6 new players...
whilst many in yorkshire still appear to be doing the conga over the middle 8's weve moved on its history pal..
yet meanwhile in todays world weve just signed a world class scrum half..  |

Did anyone else see the play the players did the other year? The best line in it was Rowley's "It's powered by the over optimism and ambition of Leigh fans so it's practically indestructible!" 
It's what being a Leigh fan is all about, it's what being a sports fan is all about. If you're not dreaming about your club lifting silverware you're not supporting them properly & missing out on half the fun.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of healthy optimism and the belief that your team is better than any other team out there, why would you watch any sport if that were not the case?
However, there's a lot wrong with taking every opportunity to declare that we're going to win the CC within 2 years - that's just blind stupidity and negates any other opinion, valid or not, that you might have. |
