how is the cash distributed?.

Does the 5th placed team take the top payout? How does it work

There are no parachute payments for relegated teams from now on. So if Wakey were to finish 5th after losing the Million pound game, Do they take the £750k or do they start next season with zero money and the highest cash goes to the 6th placed team?

On the other hand If Bradford were to win that game they are basically the top championship team, but surly they wouldn't be given the money + SL handout the following season?

The RL not been very clear about cash will be awarded

1-3 + winner of the MPG get Super League £££.
Loser of the MPG gets top Champ £££.
6th gets the second tier Champ £££.
7-8 get the next tier.

Seems a biit daft having 1k between the top two sides and then big drops to the next teams
