I'm not so sure that this is about being 'found out' by super league teams, as has been suggested elsewhere. The warning signs were there several games before the end of the regular season; we weren't playing particularly well. Key players lost form and the Warrington game, in particular, was something I don't think we recovered from. I'm not sure why. The pressure was building on the club as the hype intensified. This happens in football all the time when good cup runs are followed by poor performances. When the wheel comes off, everyone panics. The lack of confidence at the recent Halifax game was felt by everyone, I'm sure.

Just out of interest....do "top" Super League players play for "top" clubs or do the players at the bottom feeder clubs also claim the title. Just asking like for when other clubs announce their signings. I presume the recent acquisition by Fax is a top player for instance.

Should we just dread next season, and claim to enjoy the football instead?

We need to stop being vocally happy about our team entertaining us and making efforts to get better. We should doff our caps and quieten down we're clearly upsetting some sensitive fans of other clubs.

On the plus side, our recent drop in form has delighted some more than if their own team won the world club challenge, so hi-ho silver lining n all that.

I have loved this season and my missus who has never been too a rugby match in her life has missed 1 game and my little girl who is 3 as been every home game! This club is going somewhere and that's all that matters too me

He could be, if he's ever able to get back on the pitch! Still a lot of uncertainty about that, if we are to believe what Tony Smith is saying about him.
