Yes, you've a very good coach. But given that he's coaching full time pros and has one of the best income/salary structures in the league then finishing in the top 2 isn't an achievement, it's an expectation.

What a surprise, the coaches who've spent all season dreaming up naff excuses as to why they've been hammered haven't voted for the team that hammered them to win any awards. Still, just have to look at the resounding success 2014 Championship Coach f the year went on to have.

Rowley should have won coach of the year, yes a top two finish was expected of him but only 1 loss and 1 draw in the Championship, a club record winning run, a fantastic exciting entertaining style of play, a Challenge Cup Quarter final knocking out 2 SL teams and being talked about as a possible England coach certainly wasn't.

Marshall coached a part-time team (not even spending to their salary cap) to beat every team in the league at least once... including three full time teams....in his first year in charge. How long and with how much money did it take Rowley to get to where you are now?

Rowley is a good coach making full use of his vast playing resources, but put him in charge of another squad and it would be a different matter.

Slightly OT but on the subject of awards, did you guys get anything for finishing top? Was there any kind of league leaders shield etc?

I don't remember seeing or hearing anything about one, but that might just be because we didn't win it!
