Too much rubbish on this about change of game plan. Nothing wrong with our game plan, just our ability to execute it. Had we done that today it would have been closer. We had 4 tries disallowed due to poor execution. The only one I can 100% say was the right call was the forward pass, the other three where at the other end. Better execution and we score those tries. Haggerty then missed a very unexpected chance. On another day we score it. That's 5 tries, taking out any conversions that's 20 points. With a possibility of another 10 from the kicks. I do however think the difference today was rangi chase. He destroyed us, don't think had we done everything right in attack we would have won.

But that is my point! The championship is full of clubs getting bog all money and it's keeping standards way down. If top championship clubs had to play well for at least 50 minutes to win against most opponents in their league then those top clubs would stand a chance of raising their game and claiming a place in SL.

As it is, the top sides need only play for 20 or 30 minutes to beat their opponents.

Well I wasn't expecting to win either of the first two games, and I don't think any leigh supporter with any knowledge of the game would either

Today saw Salford field it's first choice 17 for the first time since April, and at that point they were 4th in SL. That said I can't help but be disappointed by the margin of defeat. Not so much that I wasn't expecting it (I predicted a 30 point margin) but the sheer lack of intensity from some players in defence was shameful.

Clearly some players know they won't be dropped, and quite what our young guns need to do to get a game remains beyond me. Acton and Spencer would have added some much needed desire in the pack, Sarsfield is one of the most gifted ball handling back rowers I've seen for a long time and Pownall when selected this year has been our best winger bar none.

I won't bag the players who aren't in great form, they probably know it, but at some point soon a change is needed. A starting front row with a combined age of over 100 might work for leeds but sadly not for us....
