When he signed for us, one of the main selling points the club used when announcing his signature was his pace.

Obviously doesn't matter now but I would like to know what folk think.
We all know Liam Kay can motor. I would be very surprised if Chisholm is faster than him over 100m. I reckon if LK had stayed on his feet instead of diving for the ankle tap on
1/2 way he could have caught Chisholm comfortably.
Maybe Liam was a bit tired, who knows but I've watched it a couple of times now and I think Liam was already catching Chisholm. He made a decision and thats that now

| Liam Kay made a half break running accross the field then put McNally through a gap from which he almost scored. chisholms break came on the very next ptb so I reckon he was too tired for a 100m chase. Reckon a fresh Kay would have caught him

| I'm with Pat on this one.
Watched the foot race live & then watched it back on Sky+.
My first thought was that Liam would catch him & viewing back confirmed what I already knew, LK would definitely have caught Chisholme.
IMO Liam made a wrong choice in going for the ankle tap, if he was close enough to tap then given the distance left he would have had him. Liam made the call & that was that.
Regarding our other wingers, I feel that Higson is a Centre trying to be a winger.
JP has fleet of foot & a good step, he relies more on his ability to drop a shoulder & turn sharp to carve a way through.
Should we be fortunate enough to be promoted to SL at the end of the 8's then I think Liam will be safe on the left, having a big haul of tries & showing his finishing ability will make his spot secure.
For me at least, if we are in SL next year then I would want a big & seriously fast winger added to the squad & two SL/NRL class forwards too.
