In the early days of this thread I believe a link was posted to the regeneration of Copley Close and the surrounding area. Whilst the area was a very unpleasant one a few years back, great strides are being taken to make it more appealing. There was a pub called the Old Bill that was eventually shut down because it's where west London coke dealers frequented en-masse. Cracking headline in the local paper was "The Old Bill shut down The Old Bill"
That said, it is very unlikely that any fans would have to cross the estate to get to the ground, which has its main points of access on the posh streets.

Leigh fans will be in the North Stand (behind the sticks) so should be home from home for most of you. There are no cash turnstiles and you need to purchase a ticket before hand - however don't que at the main ticket outside the West Stand, as there is one outside the North. Best advice though is to buy before hand, if you buy online from the Salford website I am sure you can print your ticket off. Saves hassle.
