Think its impossible for Leigh to finish outside the top 5. So there is a definite chance of promotion.
Saturday is a great time to play HKR, give we are on the back of the semi final, loads of hype etc. Pressure is on us big time. Especially as you are at home, not lost for 2 years etc.
Everyone is expecting Leigh to come up, expecting Wakey to struggle.
Not 100% sure that will be the case.
Rovers at home is very difficult for anyone, you dont have to do that. Rovers should be looking to win their 4 home games. That guarantees top 4 as 4 others cant win 4 also.
If Rovers do that, id also look at 2 away wins, thats not confidence, just think the team is there to do so, but this is the same team which has failed to win outside of Hull in the league and thus is in the middle 8.
Widnes and Salford 'should' pick up 4 wins overall. Widnes more so than Salford. Wakey have the harder draw but will be no mugs.
Pretty easy to write off Halifax and Sheffield (but that could be wrong). Bradford are the unknown.
Id say Leigh will be the only side who will change how SL looked this season, whether it be automatic or play off.

Generally, not because we have lost our 1st home game. BUT for any championship side to replace a Super League side will take some doing. 'Salary Cap/SL times facing TOP opposition every week'. We had a great 1st half yesterday, Halifax gave it a great go today (0-4 after 78 minutes). But if any trolls find it funny if we lose to SL sides, because we are on an 'upward spiral' and appear to be 'cocky' is rather pathetic. After watching Salford v Wakefield today, I wouldn't expect us to beat either team on our recent form, but we don't HAVE to gain promotion this season. Some folk forget, 2015 is not the 'be all & end all'. And whoever goes up/stays up this time round, 3 of the teams will probably be in the middle 8's next season anyway.

Our tactics work against our opponents all season. Against such a poor calibre of team, how do you suggest we develop the tactics, attitude & composure needed to play against SL opponents?

We've been playing poor teams all season, and under-strength Super league sides...... its works against them, not against someone half decent
I'd suggest a change of tactics / coach that has a sensible game plan, were we have to actually get up the field and earn our field position, rather than throwing the ball around aimlessly with no structure......
Its good to watch, however its not good in tight games were we have to respect the ball better |
