| Think its impossible for Leigh to finish outside the top 5. So there is a definite chance of promotion.
Saturday is a great time to play HKR, give we are on the back of the semi final, loads of hype etc. Pressure is on us big time. Especially as you are at home, not lost for 2 years etc.
Everyone is expecting Leigh to come up, expecting Wakey to struggle.
Not 100% sure that will be the case.
Rovers at home is very difficult for anyone, you dont have to do that. Rovers should be looking to win their 4 home games. That guarantees top 4 as 4 others cant win 4 also.
If Rovers do that, id also look at 2 away wins, thats not confidence, just think the team is there to do so, but this is the same team which has failed to win outside of Hull in the league and thus is in the middle 8.
Widnes and Salford 'should' pick up 4 wins overall. Widnes more so than Salford. Wakey have the harder draw but will be no mugs.
Pretty easy to write off Halifax and Sheffield (but that could be wrong). Bradford are the unknown.
Id say Leigh will be the only side who will change how SL looked this season, whether it be automatic or play off.

| I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't go up but neither would I be if we did. Don't think we're over confident, just rightly confident having only lost 2 games in the last 2 seasons and neither of those at home, having already beaten 5 of the 7 teams we'll face.
I think Widens & Hull KR will be too good to go down while Sheffield & Halifax will struggle as part time teams. Salford, Wakefield, Leigh & Bradford are all similar quality & any 2 could get the 2 promotion spots.

| I think Leigh will finish somewhere between 3rd and 5th, you'll be in contention all the way. From what little I know of your team you have a great team spirit, confidence and not reliant on a single play maker. Say if Brierley is injured I still think you'd perform strongly.
I think it is set up nicely. Halifax have come into some great form and Sheffield are not to be under estimated. There is also the question as to whether Bradford were holding back a little bit in recent weeks to save themselves for the 8s.
As a Wakefield fan, I think we are still an unknown quantity to us fans. Brian Smith has been experimenting in the last few weeks and we need to find out who he thinks his strongest 17 are. We also have some influential players coming back in Ali and Godinet. Add in the mix the new signings who are settling in. We should be a very different prospect than a couple of months ago. Question is, will we be good enough?

| We could be bottom after the first two games with losses to Hull KR and Salford............. I hope not..... But it would be good to see how the team responds to a bit of diversity

Or adversity... Though diversity are not to everyone's taste, I don't see the relevance here

Go away, you could make a positive post but I won't hold my breath.
I did laugh out loud at 'diversity' but how would it be good losing the first two games.

| If we win all our Championship fixtures we will be in the million pound game, if we win 1/2 of the first 3 games we will finish 3/4 at worst imo

| You are in Division 2 for a reason.....I have never witnessed a more arrogant, self congratulatory set of supporters in my life. You will not get promoted.

| Good effort from your boys today. You have to take into consideration Hull KR have been playing at a higher level of intensity every week and apart from Bradford early in the season and your cup matches nobody has really pushed you in the Championship for 80 minutes.
If you sort out the discipline and learn how to control the game which I think you will after todays game there's no reason why you can't get that top 3 or at least give yourselves a shot at the decider.
