| Wath Brow 64 v 4 Leigh Miners
Leigh Miners woeful away form in 2015 continued on Saturday afternoon when they went down to a very embarrassing 64-4 defeat at Wath Brow Hornets, a late Harry Gagen try ensuring a poor Miners didn't go home scoreless. Miners arriving later than scheduled after being held up on the M6 for over an hour and the way they played they would have been better staying on the team bus, as a ruthless Wath Brow Hornets side ran riot in front of a healthy home crowd on a warm afternoon in Cumbria.
It was one of them days for Miners where nothing went for them, one they have to take on the chin and forget very quickly if they want to have any chance of doing anything in the remainder of the season. Credit must go to Wath Brow who where firing on all cylinders and if they produce a performance like that again this season, Miners won't be the only side who are on the end of a hiding.
Miners are away again this Saturday at Siddal.
