Leigh Miners 2nd team moved within a point of leaders Orrell St James on Saturday after beating Leyland Warriors 39-10 at home.
The u18s produced a strong second half performance at Twist Lane on Sunday to beat Portico Vine 38-24 in the league.
Leigh Miners Ladies went down 68-0 but put in a spirited effort against arguably the best side in the country in Featherstone Rovers on Sunday afternoon. |
