Quote: Homer_J_Simpson "I'm really disapointed in Leigh, when the new format was introduced I was rooting for not just Fev, but Leigh, 'fax and Sheffield too. A strong 2nd tier with something to play for has got to be good for the game.
I should be delighted that one of us has stepped up and made Super League and Sky take notice.
But the way the Leigh club, it's management and players conduct themselves prevent me from being so, .'"
I now have genuine questions for you;
How would you have reacted at Blackpool if a fev player lashed out at somebody at the ruck with an open palm, then later in the game, a Leigh player butted a player on the floor and stuck his thumb in his eye. Would you have accepted that that was Fev's fault? Would you have accepted any argument from Leigh saying the opponent was gauging first, despite no evidence from the many sky cameras to the contrary.
If you had a player that was a wind up merchant, cherping at players throughout, and an opponent smashed him in the face with a forearm like Siejka did on the opening day, would you accept that was your fault and you were the dirty team?
Do you think it's acceptable to target players of other clubs with allegations, rumours and insinuations on social media?
While I don't think it's a Yorkshire conspiracy that some would make out, nor is it the case that Leigh are the disgrace that some fans would like to make us out to be. We have one or two hotheads and players that like to get under opponents skin, and can go too far at times. Yes, we need to improve on discipline, as we want to keep 13 players on the pitch, but for opponents to come and have a scrap and say "dirty leigh" is not on. Our players have been on the receiving end of some unacceptable behaviour both on and off the pitch
