Anybody who thinks Bate and Bullock after a spell at Barrow will be good enough to play Super League is seriously deluded. With all due respect to both players, they aren't the answer should we get promotion. We need to be thinking, and I've no doubt that we are, WAY higher than that.

Leigh will get in SL next season and will be the only team from the Champ to do that in my opinion. Leigh will finish above Wakey in the middle 8 but I still reckon it will come down to 4th vs 5th and a playoff simply because the other 3 teams that finish in the bottom 4 in SL are still too good for the top 4 of the champ. Then I think if you keep the stand out players from your team and add in about 6 or 7 players who can be good in SL you could possibly avoid the bottom 4. The main problem is theres about another 6 or so teams who are also chasing the same players so they can break out of that group that Leigh might be in and they have been trying to do it for years.

I would say your only basing your opinion on whats on paper or performances as it stands. Still along way to go..As a SL team facing the middle 8's your fighting for survival in SL..

Unlike the 3 teams you dismiss who are striving for SL..I would'nt count my chickens on being so one sided as you put it..
