| Should we start planning an annual on the road game at Bolton (our local friendly bigger neighbour) to broaden our appeal? There is a potentially huge market for RL fans there who would never follow W****.

| I think we should take a game on the road to the JJB, to show the home fans how fast flowing rugby is played!

| After taking my lad to watch Wigan v Bolton last Saturday, and then to have flares, stones and coins thrown at us, plus the vile verbal abuse from thousands of 15 to 60yr olds Bolton "fans" aimed at kids as young as 7 was disgraceful. I certainly wouldn't want them being associated with Leigh Centurions and I wouldn't waste my time and money going to their stadium.
Would Bolton play at Leigh to spread their game, No.
Leigh is Leigh, end of.

| That's a good point made by LCS, especially the hooliganism stuff.... If that kind of idiocy sprouted at the LSV then I for one wouldn't attend.
Leigh is a club with a friendly atmosphere that encourages youngsters to attend with their families. That's what needs promoting.
I know lots of football fans and the "hardened" ones are a different breed to RL fans. They would see watching RL as some kind of "step down". It is ridiculous, I know, but that is the mentality of many a football fan.
I still love the game of football, I just can't abide with how dishonest most people concerned with the game are, from top to bottom. The [iproper[/i football fans have long since deserted the game, in my opinion, and the ones that are left are accepting a watered-down version these days. And that's putting it short, sweet and as polite as possible.

| Why is Last Chance supporting a W---n team? Also the Reebok is closer to Leigh than the JJB. So Bolton should be our local football team.

| Well I took my 7 year old in the Bolton end on Saturday and witnessed no such problems. Plenty of objects and abuse, sometimes racist, from the Latics fans though. Anyway, that's by the by...
