Abram achieved SL with Leigh and won trophies with Leigh, Paul will achieve SL but has not yet.
As for the people who appointed Abram, well they are the people running the club now (Derek and Alan) and they should have removed him the day after the Grand Final victory but they did not. Castleford sacked Dave Woods after he got them back into SL and brought in a more equipped coach to keep them in SL.
Abram did not have the skill-set to be a SL coach. It was abundantly obvious to most people. It is just not about coaching players any more a couple of nights a week. It is paramount for a successful SL coach to have a holistic approach as you are required for Media, Sponsor, Community, and Supporter obligations. It was obvious from day 1 Abram was lacking in these area's and not going to be able to manage this and to be honest he did the complete opposite of this in alienating so many fractions of our club.'"
